amp sims
Will Mixcraft ever offer 64 bit amp sims like they had 32 bit in earlier versions?

Re: amp sims
Hi,
While you are waiting for amp sims to be included in MC, there are lots of free 64 bit options out there. For example:
Nick Crow
Poulin
Ignite
Ml sound lab amped roots
You can make pretty much any of them sound great if you can get hold of some decent impulse responses and cabinet emulators - which are available everywhere.

Just search for something like "free 64 bit amp sims and cabinets"
Re: amp sims
Check out NAM. It's open source and is pretty much all I use now. It's top tier sound w/ great community.hpharley90 wrote: ↑Sun Oct 29, 2023 12:37 pm I will look at those C-H. I did not know about free ones.

Re: amp sims
This set of captures of a bassman by Dev Crawford is what sold me on NAM. I've got a lot of sims from alot of developers including the biggies, but I hardly touch them now. Tonehunt has 1000s of amp captures, but this is my favorite and default setup. It's just incredible tech and such real sounding results imho.cactus-head wrote: ↑Sun Oct 29, 2023 1:49 pm...sounds interesting. I'll have to check that out tooSturdy wrote: ↑Sun Oct 29, 2023 1:09 pm

Re: amp sims
For a sonic example, here's something I was working on with NAM today. It only has drums and 4 guitar parts at the moment. 2 of the guitar parts are Bassman captures, the Dev Crawford dimed capture mentioned above - love the growl on that thing - and a slightly cleaner capture from amalgam audio. The other two captures are of Tone Kings by amalgam.

It's just a work in progress and it'll probably delete in near future as I update, but I think you should be able to hear it until then just to give a sonic idea. I've kindof turned into an evangelist for NAM because it's open source and I think it just sounds so good.
