I also haven't burned an audio CD in 10 years :D But I think today Windows 10 can do this itself. Your Windows Media Player can easily do it as I know.

If you search for free cd/dvd burning software you'll come up with a bunch. Ashampoo seems to be a popular one but there are a lot of others including Nero which is still around.

free usually come with crap which i don't want and free isn't important.
Nero has too many options to figure out what i want.

Doesn't Mixcraft have a built in CD burner?

What you do is line up all of the music files on one track back to back with a second or two of empty space in between them. Then use
Mix > Markers > Automatic Marker Wizard . Make sure the CD option is clicked at the bottom of the dialog. Fill in the marker specifications. Then click OK.

Then File > Burn CD

A free program option outside of mixcraft that I've used over the years is imgburn:

And here's a quick how-to:

thanks for everyone's help.
Image Burn I'm sure is great if you know how to use it.
I couldn't wrap my head around it.
I bought Roxio on Amazon for $18.00 and is so easy.
I burned a couple of discs and am very happy.
Great for ripping too.
Windows media player used to be able to do all those things for me but now will only play music.
Trying to rip or burn and it just crashes.
all's good though.
I'm happy.

You are not mentioning what content you wish to burn. Since you are posting in this forum chances are you are burning audio content.
There is a huge difference if you want to copy audio CD´s using plain bitwise copying programs versus a dedictated audio software.
Despite common assumption, audio CDs have little in common with data CDs.

If this is what you are doing, and if your concern is quality, then look into Exact Audio Copy (EAC).
This is all you need.

For anything else, plenty recommendations have been given. Pick your flavour.
