recording are distorted

Post by mgmorales33 »

hi is anyone else having trouble with distorted guitar recordings?

everything was working fine until the last update, when ever i have my ampero one multi effects units armed for recording the tracks come out sounding distorted like its a buffering issues

ive tried other recording programs and other recording devices but it only seems to be an issue with mix craft not the pedal or anything else

my defualt playback and core audio option are correct and were set as is before the latest update

Sorry, I haven't had any issues and am not familiar with your guitar rig. Are you recording the DI signal (uneffected) from your guitar, or recording the processed signal? If you're recording the DI, does the DI recording sound ok?

the guitar is going into ampero one and the ampero one is going into computer via USB

the recording device is set for ampero one
the playback device is set for ampero one
the track is armed as a stereo recording
but the recording come out all buffered and static sounding
under the computer and mixcraft the sound options match up
the bits the Hz

ive tried reinstalling mixcraft the pedal firmwar/software and its still giving me issues?
its not that notrious mixcraft using all your CPU either becuase i checked my task manager and the CPU usage is fine

Does the interface have drivers for ASIO? That's what should be used if available. Download appropriate drivers, make it your Windows default device, set audio preferences in Windows sound settings, make sure Windows settings match Mixcraft settings and give it a shot.
