Tap Project Tempo

Can someone explain to me why tap tempo is present in the project if you don't determine the average there when taping? When I tap there, the tempo jumps back and forth without any sense. I don't see the point of it :?:

For what kind of taping is it for?

You can set a tempo by tapping the tap button in time. A single tap doesn't do anything. You have to repeatedly tap it to set a tempo.

That is clear. But the tempo jumps back and forth while tapping instead of becoming more and more stable. You have to determine the average of 20 taps, for example. Just like every tap button in the world.

You ain't got no rhythm

Just kidding. Try mapping the tap button to a MIDI key. An input device like a mouse may be interfering with your results. Generally when I tap the BPM all falls within 1 or 2 beats up or down - usually at about 8 or 9 taps.

Or go outside the box - I use this site; very handy. Just tap with the space bar.

Haha, yes I'm trying to optimize my feel of rhythm. I've succeeded. Now I capture the rhythm with just one tap

Last night Mixcraft came to me and told me what tempo I have to think of. Unbelievable, that's it
