Comparing different mixes of the same project

Hi all
I'm wondering whether there is a quick and easy way in Mixcraft to compare two or more mixes of the same song without having to save each mix as a separate .mx10 project? For example, if I want to compare what a song sounds like using certain VSTIs and effects with what it sounds like using different VSTIs and effects? I know I can create mixdowns and listen to them, but ideally I'd like to be able to do it within the multitrack environment.
At the moment the only way I can do it seems to be to save the project as a .mx10 file and then make my changes and save it as a separate .mx10 file - but to compare the two I have to keep quitting one and reloading the other.
I know I could do this by creating and comparing mixdowns, but it would be nice to be able to do it within the multitrack environment and tweak each mix as I go along.
I hope this makes sense!
Thanks

Hi

Why not mix down each completed version to a WAV file; then import them all into a new project. That way, with muting and soloing, you can compare all of them.

Because I'd like to be able to "tweak each mix as I go along" :)

Using submix tracks for each version, soloing the one wanna listen. Only master track shared between all versions..
