Is it possible to change the Metronome Click Rate in 10.5
I thought I once made the change in Mixcraft 9 to click 1/16 instead of 1/4, but I'm not finding it now.

Hi,
Nothing changed with the metronome in Mixcraft 10.5. The metronome follows the time signature. If you're using a time signature of 4/4, you could change the time signature to 4/16 if you wanted it to sound every 1/16 note.

Thanks Greg. I meant the rate of the sound. I had an asr-10 that would allow me to change it from 1/4 to 1/16.
This is from another program I use in conjunction with Mixcraft that has the option. I'd just rather stay in Mixcraft for everything.

Hi,
Did you try setting your time signature to 4/16?

I did. It takes away my pre-count and isn't what I''m after. I will have to stick to the 4/4 time rate in Mixcraft.
Thanks for getting back.

Hi,
It doesn't take away the pre-count, but maybe you would need a longer pre-count when you're having the metronome play every 16th note.
Anyway, if you wanted the metronome to play every 16th note, that's how you can do it in Mixcraft.

You can make your own metronome track with virtual instruments, I usually make one with a tambourine hit on 1 and woodblocks on the other beats.

That's probably the best solution.
