Recording the Output of an Instrument Track (i.e. Resampling)

Post by Htos_Drol »

Hello

I've been messing about with creating drones from the tails of heavily reverbed one-shots and it seems that the topic of resampling always comes up. In most cases, the resampling is done by recording the output of one track onto another. Can someone suggest how to do this in Mixcraft (or point me to the section of the Mixcraft manual that covers this)? I don't seem to have the ability to tell an Audio track to use another track as its source.

Many thanks!

Hi,

Here you find midi routing examples with using instrument as recording source:

Hello Passionpasi

Wow! That not only solved the issue at hand, but answered several other routing questions I had in the back of my mind. 👍
How crazy is it that you only posted that video a few days ago, just in time for me to learn !?!

Many, many thanks!!!!
