tempo mapping

Post by huik »

Hi,

I must be doing something wrong. I need to align the tempo of the project according to the audio track.
I open the Master Track, select - Master Tempo.
The song is a live recording, relatively stable tempo around 71 bpm.
I align the first beat in the bar. With each additional bar, the difference in tempo becomes greater and greater.
Thank you for the advice.

Hi,

Are you using Mixcraft 10.5 build 596?

In the example you're showing the tempo would seem to increase because you're ending with a higher tempo?

Hi,
yes, build 596. the tempo starts at 71 bpm and then oscillates up to about 78 bpm. Not higher. It's a live recording.
I did the same thing in another DAW, with no problem.
Thank You

Hi,

I guess I don't understand what you're trying to do. What's going wrong, exactly? You're trying to match the tempo of another audio recording?
