Mute and Submix Tracks

Hello

I'll Solo a Submix track with multiple instrument or audio tracks underneath.
Then I might solo one of those instrument or audio tracks to dial in the sound.
When I un-solo said instrument or audio track, the solo on the Submix turns off as well.
(I've checked to make sure that the instrument or audio track was the only track active, as I initially thought I had the whole submix selected)

I don't remember Mixcraft working like this in the past. I've always worked with layers in this manner and this seems different and clunky.

Ideas? Thanks!
