Project crackles on playback with Windows 11

I just installed Windows 11 to replace Windows 10 since support for Win 10 is going away. Now, projects that played fine on Win 10 crackle when played back. I understand that this indicates over taxing of the CPU. Is there extra junk running in the background with Win 11 that is causing the problem?

Hi,

Go into Mixcraft's sound device preferences. What do you have selected as your playback device? Which mode are you using? WaveRT, ASIO, or Wave?

I am using Focusrite USB ASIO.

Also, the CPU usage shown during playback stays around 5-10 % for both Mixcraft and System.

Which version and build of Mixcraft are you using? Is there crackling in WaveRT mode?

Try downloading and installing the latest driver from Focusrite's download page.
