Hello Mixcraft User
Over the course of a computer's life, drivers are updated again and again. The old drivers remain on the hard drive as driver corpses that are no longer needed. This can, but does not necessarily, lead to disruptions in the computer's ongoing operation. To remove these driver corpses, I use the freeware "DriverStore Explorer" from time to time and use it to keep my hard drive clean. The "DriverStore Explorer" is a portable software that does not require installation and can also be started from a USB stick. The "DriverStore Explorer" user interface also supports several languages. The "DriverStore Explorer" can be downloaded here: https://github.com/lostindark/DriverSto ... r/releases
But please be careful when deleting the drivers and make sure that you only delete the outdated drivers. You delete at your own risk.
The antidote to "DriverStore Explorer" is the paid software "Driver Easy". I use "Driver Easy" on three computers because there is no better software for updating drivers. I became aware of "Driver Easy" when setting up my music workstation. The "Intel Driver and Support Assistant" only found three missing drivers, while "Driver Easy" found 14 missing drivers. "Driver Easy" also came to a similar result on the laptop of the best wife of all. At first I was a bit skeptical about "Driver Easy", but then I was proven wrong and since then "Driver Easy" has been a permanent part of my computers. If you want to find out more about "Driver Easy", you can read up here: https://de.drivereasy.com/
