Library - Alphabetical Order/number order

Hi,

In my sample library tab all the folders are in a very random order and not alphabetical or number order.

For example I have folders such as 1-Drums, 2-Bass, 3-Arps etc, but they are all over the place.

Is there a way these folders can be arranged in alphabetical/number order?

Are these samples that you imported into Mixcraft's library? Or are you using the "Browse Your Computer" option?

Hi,

I think the order is fixed based on how the folders were added to Mixcraft. The order could be edited I believe in a file labeled "folderView.txt"

Located in

%AppData%\Acoustica\Mixcraft\favorites\Library

The screenshot is showing "Browse My Computer," not Favorites. That's why I asked about Windows File Explorer.

I don't think they were referring to their favorites; but maybe I am mistaken. It looks like the area where you add your own folders after browsing them. I can get the same non-alphabetical order behavior just based on how I add folders. Even though the location of the file in %AppData% is in the favorites\Library folder, it still holds the file list and order of this particular area.

I've only just seen your response.

In Explorer all my sample files are in alphabetical/number order. I have given my most used folders numbers so they appear at the top in Explorere but in Mixcraft they are randomly listed.

I've just looked at that text file and it just says "G:\Samples\",
This is my sample folder which contains sub folders for particle instruments or type of genre etc.

Correct, it's where I added a folder with sub folders and not my favourites.
I find it odd why they wouldn't be listed alphabetically or numerically.
