You mention pitch correction software - Mixcraft comes with Melodyne 5; the best in my humble opinion. :)

and for pitch correction there is also GSnap that comes with mixcraft - modest but super easy to use.

Thanks, I just had to pay for mine - it wasn't activated on any of my Mixcraft softwares.

I tried it out 1 hour ago - so far, so good.

May I also apologise to everyone on this thread - I am constantly locked out of this forum, there must be a glitch somewhere?

I used G-Snap just now, I'd confuesed it with Melodyne, which comes up as an effect (VST) yet is behind a paywall. I don't mind that, but it ought to be advsertised as such, I feel.

Downloaded WAVES - probably in error, it won't open, & Mixcraft can't see it as a VST, for some reason.

Been having a bad hair day :)

My voice is fugitive - sometimes it nails it, sometimes it doesn't - my ear is not brilliant. Pitch correction is a definite asset, if only to teach my inner ear where my voice should be, I feel 👍

This page is black - how do I make it go bright again please? :)

G-Snap should be included with MC 10 pro studio - Melodyne essentials too without additional payment

Got it. Opened plug-in manager and found I had it disabled.

Can you - or board members - give me the low-down on Melodyne please - it smoothed the vocal - but showed no graphic as to what it was doing - G-Snap uses red and green lines to indicate, I think, how far off from true pitch the voice is?

Thanks 👍

Thanks.

Currently Melodyne is telling me it isn't activated on my Mixcraft 10. It is, I did that last night. But I have to go back, now, & re-enter the serial number at my account, at the Melodyne web page. Then I can use it again.

Hope I won't have to enter the serial number every time I want to pitch-correct?

There shouldn't be a problem Ric. Melodyne integrates with Mixcraft just fine.
