New Acoustic Jam

Post by ConnollyMusicCreates »

A little jam to work on some grooves. Everything was recorded on one mic so the production might be a little on the skinny side.

Hi,

Great stuff!

Great sound and really well played by everyone. Impressed with your fathers drumming (and both the bass and guitar was brilliant). I suppose your father must have been some kind of semi professional musician?

The sound was very good aswell concidering the one mike solution, every instument sounded balanced in the mix.

Well done.

My sister picked up the bass a couple of years ago so we picked up a drum for dad since 'the band' needed a drummer. I wrote out the bass part so it would be simple and pretty straightforward.

Waves gave out the IDEX Intelligent Dynamics plugin for free after Thanksgiving so I picked that up and it's pretty good. I 'triplicated' the track and have the IDEX working separately on the low, mid and high end. Then added some slap delay and verb on a couple of Send tracks. Thanks for the feedback. I think I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out.
