I know this topic has come up before - our friend Tom (outteh) has mentioned it.

It would really help if you could listen to the song where a link has been supplied. I'll use my last song as an example:- The post has 1044 views here, but my YouTube link shows only 55 actual views.

It's not that I'm monetized (or ever intend to be), but actual plays helps the YouTube algorhythm put our Mixcraft music in front of more people. And I'm sure it's not just YouTube, but other platforms that our posters here also use; like Soundcloud, Bandcamp etc.

C'mon guys - let's support each other.

You're absolutely right. I usually also leave a like. However, it is important that you listen to a YouTube video for at least 30 seconds at a time, otherwise YouTube will not count it as a view. I suspect if you fast forward the video, it won't be counted anymore.
