A little about Simon & Garfunkel, the legendary folk rock duo from America.
The original song Sound of Silence is from 1964, recorded in an acoustic version.
Due to the trend in music at the time, an electric 12-string guitar with drums was added to the acoustic version a year later in 1965, and it became more popular and acceptable to the youth of that time and listeners in general...

Our version of the song features electric piano, bass guitar and acoustic guitar and vocal harmonies.

If it was easy to be Simon & Garfunkel, everyone would be hehehhe, we tried, don't complain....

Great effort. And in the original key aswell.

Was it difficult to mimic Art Garfunkels harmonies? His harmony is more dronelike than most other second harmonies. Did you have a score sheet or did you pick out the harmonies by ear?

First of all, Art sings lead vocals and Simon sings the lower harmony.
I sang the vocals by ear.
Of course, it's difficult to sing that song because it's very dynamic and emotional.
The song is a timeless classic.
