Midi Sound I set resets back to Piano every time!

I have now got another problem with Mixcraft.
I am not able to load a midi and then change the sounds.

i.e. I have loaded a midi into Mixcraft and want to change the default: Piano to a Flute.
It lets me set it to flute, but as soon as I play the track from anywhere in the piece it resets itself straight back to Piano.

Very annoying.

I can't see anywhere in mixcraft why it is doing this.

Any ideas?

Many thanks for that helpful reply.
I had just removed Program and Bank changes using another free Midi application I found on the Internet, before I received this reply.
I had no idea that Mixcraft could remove this information as well after having a little look around when I couldn't find anything. I just didn't look hard enough.
It's great to know that it is possible.
