Midi Recording

Post by smoof »

When I record a midi from my Casio CTK-900 to a virtual instrument track within Mixcraft there is a very very slight delay that I have to spend alot of time trying to sync up, is that normal or could there be something wrong with my midi settings? I am using a Yamaha UX16 USB Midi Cable and the keyboard. It gets all the notes its just like they are off somewhat, when I start trying to edit the notes it seems like forever to get them to sync up to produce them the way I had originally played when I recorded while listening to the backing track I had created for the melody

Thank in advance

Hi,

What do you have selected in Mixcraft's Sound Device preferences: Wave, ASIO or WaveRT?

Try Wave with the number of buffers set to 8 and the buffer size set to 4096.

Hi,

What settings were you using before you made that change? Are you using Mixcraft 4.2?
