raise/lower volume on several tracks at once - possible?

Post by Zoetrope »

Since there is no bus in Mixcraft, is it possible to select several tracks and raise or lower the volume (level) of those tracks at the same time?

Example, your bass track is cranked all the way up, but it's still too quiet, so you want to lower the volume on all other tracks. Can this be done without individually lowering each track, one by one, laboriously, then collapsing in a heap on the floor in exhaustion?

Yes, I find volume/level control a bit of a problem too.

Of course you've got to use your ears, but spectrum analyzers and peak meters can help you get a handle on relative levels as you go.

Check out some of the free ones at this search at KVR audio.

Especially look at Inspector, VU2, and MultiInspector Free.
