runtime error 6034

Post by jimied »

Thanks in advance. I am having an issue with, I believe, a plugin. I read another post on how to repair it but I need more details. I am not sure how to edit the VSTignore.ini or how to even get to a point where I can. If someone could give me a step by step it would help alot. ie click on " my computer" then "C" etc etc
again thanks in advance

Read this: http://acoustica.com/kb/How-Can-I-Disab ... _1076.html

You need to know the name of the plugin that is causing the problem.

If it's a vst then you need to edit this file:
C:\Program Files\Acoustica Mixcraft 4\VSTIgnore.ini

If it's a DirectX effect edit this file:
C:\Program Files\Acoustica Mixcraft 4\DXIgnore.ini

You can always uninstall the offending program.

that is very helpful. is there a way to determine which plugin is causing the problem? I get this error when the program is starting up and the screen actually comes up for a few seconds then closes. I just downloaded a bunch of freebies. When the program starts and all the plugin names flash on the screen, minimouge VA seems to be where it stops. I don't know if that means anything or not.

Thanks for the quick response

Minimogue is okay, because that's shipped with Mixcraft. You can look in the Mixcraft-log.txt file to see whether there are any clues in there.
