Mixcraft 3 and Samson Q1U usb mic

I have had problems having my Samson Q1U usb mic recognize Mixcraft 3 (of course i would not use the useless aplet driver )so i stopped using it.However i persevered using Asio4all free software and hey presto it worked great.Just adjust Windows volume control for sensitivity and a few clicks with the Asio4All software and your done.Then when you are finished using the mic you revert back to the original Asio driver for your guitar etc..No latency problems and as long as the mic volume is correct there is minimal hiss...hope this helps anyone with the mic as with my setup i get to keep a perfectly good microphone with its unique usb connectivity.
