Mixcraft / Toneport not recording mic track

Ok, I've searched for the last couple of days trying to figure this one out.
I use a Line 6 KB37 and Toneport into Mixcraft.

Since, I've upgraded Mixcraft to 4, I've been able to use the option to record into Mixcraft using both the Microphone and my instrument.

I select everything on the Toneport (mic/inst) as I once did, I can hear the guitar and mic on my headphone or through my monitors (through the KB37). I arm my Mixcraft, select my Line 6 input (I've tried stereo by default and left/right as alternates)... and only get the guitar.

I've tried alternate settings... but all I ever get is guitar. No sound from the mic at all.

This worked in Mixcraft 3... and now, while I still have 3 still installed, it doesn't work there now either.

Any ideas? I spent a lot of time yesterday updating all the software to make sure it was all up to date... and hoping this was some bug that got fixed... but, nothing so far.

Hi,

Are you using Mixcraft 4.5 build 114?

If you click on the little arrow next to an arm button, what are all your options there?

In Mixcraft's Sound Device preferences, are you using Wave, ASIO or WaveRT?

Hi,

Give it a try with ASIO. What happens?

That works... it defaults the playback audio through the KB-37, which makes it a little more difficult, but it works!! ...even better now that both recording sources are now on separate tracks - previously both were on the same track, this will make life a little more easier that way!

Thanks! :D
