A question about copyrights

Post by RyanThunder »

Hey everyone! RyanThunder here.

So, MixCraft is pretty awesome, and I've decided that I want to use it to create original soundtracks for the computer games I'm making.

So, here's my scenario: let's say that I use some of MixCraft's instrument loops in my songs along with composing some original notes with the instrument samples. What I'm asking is:

1. If I made these games available free to the internet, along with these songs, would it be copyright infringement since I'm using the pre-made instrument loops that Acoustica made within my songs?

2. If I decided to sell these games along with the same songs on the internet, would that be copyright infringement?

I know the answer is probably pretty obvious, but I really just want to double check. Thanks in advance!

1) no
2) no
You can sell, give or whatever, anything you create with the loops and sounds. We ask only that you do not distribute the loops as they are.
