Recording audio and midi tracks together

Any suggestions when you have midi tracks recorded along with audio tracks and want to now make a MP3?

I have problems trying to play the midi tracks while recording the audio output of the actual instrument to a new audio track.

I did try to set the midi file to a virtual instrument but I cant seem to get the timing between the audio tracks (guitar and vocal) and the midi file with a virtual instrument.

Help as I am trying to get this project working this weekend

Hi,

If you just select "Mix Down..." from the File menu, the MIDI and audio tracks can all be rendered into a MP3 file.

Maybe I don't understand the question?
