How do you insert an instrumental?

Hey, I'm fairly new with mixcraft and I was wondering if there was a way to insert instrumentals into the instrumental track area. Everytime I try to insert an instrumental it will only going into the Audio section. If someone could help me with this problem it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Hi,

The Instrument tracks are for MIDI, not audio. You can't put audio tracks on an instrument track. An audio track is for recordings and MIDI is a series of music notes. So, you must have an audio recording of instrumental music and it belongs on an audio track.

Does that make any sense?
