Post by zzgani »

hi,

Check out the song I have composed & created using Mixcraft. The lyrics of this song is in a south Indian language called 'Tamil' . Please listen and let me know your comments.

Pretty cool.

I like the sound of the language alot, very nice.

I would like the musical instrument portion way more if you had thrown in some traditional Indian instruments.

I'm a Big fan of Sitar, Tabla and drone instruments.
Especially Tanpura

But it's your song, and you may not like to use traditional Indian instruments and so ignore my comments. :D

Hope you don't mind.
I took a short section of your song and added some Tabla, Tanpura and some delay effects.

Just for fun.
You can play it here in a flash player

Wow, you have given a new dimension to my songs. Sounds very good with tabla and tanpura. It's not like i don't want to use indian instruments but I couldn' get get the VST for them. But the way did you play live tabla or used a plugin?

Cheers,
Ganesh

I like it too!

I used Riyaz Studio
It is able to do the tabla, Tanpura and a drone instument in all the keys and many different tempo's.

It uses real samples and so it it not a virtual instrument.
You have to record the output of Riyaz studio and then add th clips to mixcraft.

Here's a link.

here is the .mp3 version of your song
