How to tell a stereo track from a mono track visually
Perhaps I've missed something, but Mixcraft seems to "draw" a stereo track the same as a mono track. Other DAWs show the stereo track as two sound waves rather than one. How can I tell (visually) in Mixcraft if a track is stereo or mono?

Hi,
No, there's no visual indicator just looking at the waveform in the current version of Mixcraft. Thanks for the suggestion!
If the sound is only in the left channel or the right channel, you'll only see one level indicator moving, of course, when you play the sound. Also, if you select the sound and bring up the Sound tab, you can see the audio file format.
This may be slightly off topic, but Mixcraft 4.5 has an option that allows you to work with only the right or the left channel of a sound. Right-click on the sound and select "Channels" to access this new feature.
