MIDI Controllers & Presets

Post by stachelzelle »

hi guys

i have test the pianissimo as VST-plugin in a host sequencer like cubase and acid and have some problems. i tried to control the settings for "reverb type" and "reverb amount" via MIDI but it seems that this don't work. it always switch to the standard settings from the preset during start/stop or if i save and reload a project.

is there any way how i can save or control the settings for reverb and the other stuff ? the only controller that work correct is the right pedal, but the other ... ??

i also miss the possibility to save own presets, that would be a way to define the settings but ... ??

any suggestions ...

Hi,

It sounds like the MIDI file might have "program change" messages in it. You'll have to figure out how to remove those in your host software. Here's how to do it if you were using our Mixcraft software as the host software: Program Change Messages in Mixcraft.

Your host software should have a way to save VST presets. Check its documentation.
