How can I Install Percussion Kit in Beatcraft?

Post by graphos1 »

Hello:

How can I install the Smart Loops Percussion Kit into Beatcraft?
Also, can I install and use the complete Percussion Kit or will Beatcraft only use the ACID files?

Best Regards,

Hi,

Yes, when you start a new project, just select the Smart Loops Rock Kit.

You can also build your own kits out of any of the sounds in the sample library, or from mp3, wav, wma or ogg files from outside the program.

Hi,

The smart loops samples that ship with Beatcraft are a subset of the complete Percussion Kit, which contains a few more bells and whistles - literally.
I've been selecting them, one by one, in the Explorer and dragging them in.
I was hoping there was a more direct way but, it's probably for the best since I'm not going to use them all at once.
Thanks, for the quick replies, guys.

Best Regards,

Move the files into a permanent location within the BC program folder, maybe here C:\Program Files\Acoustica Beatcraft\library\Included Sounds
And then double click a track in BC and add the sounds one by one, then save as a kit when you are done.
The next time you open BC, just select the kit you saved.

Yes, I would like a decent cowbell too.
BTW EL34, I have been searching and can't find one, I may need to record my own with 3 or 4 mics and mix them together to get a decent sounding one. If i do, I will send it your way.

Ok, I got one. It's on this page http://tinyurl.com/zp4ar
Here is a link to a quick beat I made with it. It sounds fine once you add some verb. http://www.demondigital.com/downloads/f ... l-beat.mp3

If that link fails, then try this.
