SAVE button option is flawed

Post by EdVic »

I created a song list to burn to CD.
Then I saved the songlist to my desktop and called it DISK1.
No problems so far.
Then after burning that CD I manually deleted the songs from that list with the intent of creating a new song list.
So after creating a new song list I selected the SAVE button expecting MP3 burner to ask me for an new file name as DISK1 has the previous song list on it.
But nope, just overwrote the original one songlist file DISK1.
I know now that I should have used File/SaveAs but still, it cant be hard to warn a user about a possible overwrite of a existing songlist file.
Thanks
Ed

That is no different than any other software, now if you would have created a "new" song list and then named it DISK1 and tried to save, it would have then warned about overwriting the existing one.
Try it with MS word or any other program, open a word document, make changes and click save, guess what it will do
