Running Multiple Versions

Post by Poesque »

Perhaps this has been addressed, but I am wary about installing two versions of Mixcraft (5 and 6) on the same machine and do not want to risk modifying/corrupting my working data with BETA testing. The BETA version appears to install into a new directory. Are the files, settings and registry elements safe between the two versions? For now, I have it installed on a laptop separately, but my desktop has all of my gear integrated for putting the software through the paces thoroughly.

They are completely independent of each other. However, we recommend that you create new projects for testing version 6 rather than testing on your current version 5 projects.
