Installing VST Effects some problem with "Virtual BAssi

Hi guys!!!!I need your help please.......

I followed the instructions of the video "Installing VST Effects" but.....perhaps I did not understand something.....

I've downloaded "virtual bassist.dll.zip" - I opened the folder and then I tried to put the file "virtual bassist.dll" before in : C:\Programs\VST dosen't work so then in "C:\Programs\Acoustica Mixcraft 5\VST" dosen't work as well : (

If I try to open virtual bassist from Mixcraft receive the written:

1: file syn could not be located in the windows system folders

2: file synsoacc.dll does not have the expected interface

what can I do

Hi,

If you're trying to use it in Mixcraft, be sure that you've installed a 32-bit version of the plugin and not a 64-bit version.

When you downloaded it, were there two different options to download? Where did you download it? Did you put all the files that were in the .zip file in your VST folder?

the internet site where I download it, is: http://www.dlldll.com/virtual%20bassist ... nload.html

When I open the folder I found just a file: virtual bassist.dll

Maybe Im wrong to take the file from this site?

Yeah, those kind of web pages are questionable. You might try getting it from a more reputable site, like maybe the original maker of the plugin. Or, look for an alternative on KVRAudio.com.
