Studio Drum sounds and VST sounds.
OK, I have to ask, can you tune the pitch, sustain, decay, etc of the drum sounds that are included in Mixcraft? I have to ask. I finally loaded up Mixcraft Pro Studio 7 earlier tonight, and as a drummer - those internal sounds leave a lot to be desired. Are those actual samples or are they somehow ...

Re: Insert Smiley here...
I began reading the thread but didn't see this, so if I missed it, sorry: How about a basic operating system designed just for Mixcraft so we can completely do away with Windows? Hooray! If you guys don't mind, would it be all right if it ran on the Zilog Z80? -h LOL I was thinking more a...

Re: MIXED LOGIC M24 Control Surface.
I just thought,"I'm turning 48 next month so I'm going to go for this." I'm thinking about trying to pick up part time job, or even a full time job and putting every penny from that in the bank for a couple of months.... but my girlfriend is not so happy about that prospect.... but I still...

Re: MIDI to USB Interfaces?
I have a MIDIman USB MIDISPORT8x8/s and while reading about it on the web, I discovered that it doesn't work with Windows 7. From what I read, it needs a Firmware update (a pair of EEPROMS), which M-Audio is no longer supporting. It is what it is, I wish I had known about the Windows 7 Issue, I neve...

MIDI to USB Interfaces?
I know most people have Audio Interfaces with MIDI built in to them but is anybody using a separate MIDI Interface? If so, what are you using, and what kind of Audio Interface are you using?

Re: MIXED LOGIC M24 Control Surface.
That is SWEET! Congrats! Definitely let us know how it works out, even though it'll just make most of us jealous! M Thanks. I'm really happy about it. A friend of mine who lives in Upstate New York bought one around 2008 or 2009. Well, what I did was this: I smoked cigarettes for 30 years. Currentl...

I know this post was from almost year ago, but have other people experienced this issue, or has it been resolved by the plug-in creator?

Re: MOTU 2408 mkII. (I AM AN IDIOT!)
Hello. For sure. It was definitely no secret. The Motu website spells it all out. 'Generally speaking, the PCI-324 card is not compatible with most PC motherboards manufactured since 2002.' I already know that I'll get some arguments about not having an audio card inside your computer anyway so may...

MOTU 2408 mkII. (I AM AN IDIOT!)
 I just realized this morning that I am an idiot. My stupidity seems to know no bounds. I have a MOTU 2408 which uses a PCI card that goes into the PC. I bought it used and I've never used it. I began building a new PC with the intent of using this device as the centerpiece of my audio record...

Re: Totally new to PC recording..sort of...
When I was 19, my parents let me soundproof their garage. I worked for a Cabinet making shop at the time, and I saved as muchmoney as a could for months on end. I double walled the inside of the garage, and they were 12" thick when I got finished. I could play my drums out there at 3:00AM in th...

Re: Totally new to PC recording..sort of...
Either way, that machine should carry you far. Now you just need.......... lol M Hahahaha No kidding! It never ends. I went to Tom's Hardware site to make sure all of this stuff worked well together, and I was initially going to get a liquid cooling system, but their reviewers reviewed a bunch of t...

Re: Unix?
I just wondered because, ... well, here is what got me thinking about it. I have a phone that is a year old. nothing special.. you can go to Walmart and catch it on sale for $30 now... When I bought it year ago it was about 3 times that price. But the thing is, it is loaded down with bloatware, and ...
