Re: Tempo change on imported .wav file
Yes, I looked at the suggestions but before I tried anything else I pulled out my laptop that still had build 462 of MixCraft Pro 64-bit. Lo and behold, the same .wav files that were an issue with build 469 on my desktop loaded just fine into build 462. No timing issues whatsoever, everything synche...

Re: Tempo change on imported .wav file
I am struggling with this and just now started looking in this forum. I use Band in a Box to start with. I generate backing tracks in BiaB and save them as individual .wav files. I then load them into MixCraft. I have never had an issue when I start with an empty project, set the time base to the sa...

Re: Melodyne 5.1
OK, I installed Melodyne 5.1, got the fatal crash when I booted up Mixcraft 9 Pro repeatedly, took the link to Acoustica site where I see I need to upgrade to Beta release 468. OK, I download it, go back to the website and get my license code and the installer tells me I have a license code for Pro ...

Re: Can Mixcraft and Band in a box work together?
I've tried the BIAB plugin with varied success but after way too many crashes losing a lot of work, I prefer to just use BIAB and Mixcraft separately. I ultimately end up back in BIAB for live anyway after mixing down in Mixcraft. Believe me, it saves a LOT of frustrating time in the long run. I wou...

Re: Can Mixcraft and Band in a box work together?
I use Mixcraft Pro 9 and BIAB together routinely. I usually start out in BIAB and generate backing tracks in a given style. I save these tracks as individual .wav files from BIAB and import them into Mixcraft. Often I go back to BIAB and add additional tracks from different styles for variety. In Mi...

Re: VIDEO with MIDI
I have a nice external audio interface with 8 inputs and 10 outputs. I would like to mix these in MixCraft with existing audio, midi and a video track and route to 3-4 stereo output channels, using MixCraft to control automation on these tracks. I can do everything I need to do with a plethora of so...

Re: What are your top 3 feature requests for Mixcraft 9?
1. Ability to view other tracks in "background" while editing midi. Easily switch between tracks and copy and paste between tracks. Having the capability of the freeware "MidiEditor" would be great. 2. Simplified routing where any track could have as its input not only external i...

Re: VIDEO with MIDI
I would love to have this also. In my case for performance I would like to have a video track (w/ audio for backing track) plus midi output in sync for controlling externals. We DON'T want a video editing program! I love MixCraft but IMHO the weakest point is it is NOT friendly at all for performing...

Re: Mixing for Live performance
Yes, I tried that -- in fact I use a template to start all my mixes. I just went back to verify that if I set the "mon" switch on a channel and resave the file as a template it does not remember the status of the "mon". It does not :( I really would like to have a track type that...

Re: What are your top 3 feature requests for Mixcraft 9?
New track type: Direct in or patch point -- not sure what to call it: I want to use MixCraft as a virtual mixer for live performing. I use pre-recorded backing tracks (audio & midi) and a "chord sheet/lyric" video along with live instruments. To mix in mixcraft (and avoid using my hard...

I don't know if I made it clear what I want... I want to use MixCraft as a virtual mixer for live performing. I use pre-recorded backing tracks (audio & midi) and a "chord sheet/lyric" video along with live instruments. To mix in mixcraft (and avoid using my hardware mixer) I can bring...

Mixing for Live performance
I don't have a lot of DAW experience but have found Mixcraft pretty straight forward to learn and use. I would like to use it for mixing and playback for live performance, just me. I have a decent multi-channel audio interface (Behringer UMC1820) with plenty of I/O. I want to mix a couple of backing...
