It happens very randomly. Then after 5-10 minutes, then after 5 hours. Sometimes it doesn't happen at all and everything works fine. It's hard for me to say how you can reproduce this in your own, but I have a suspicion that it happens specifically with a chain of enabled plugins.

That depends on which controls on screen have the focus I think. If you have a vst open, the keystrokes go into the vst plugin. Select a note and press shift+up/down arrow if you want to transpose the note by an octave, if by a semitone use only the arrows.

The problem is not that the song was recorded on bad equipment, but specifically that the waveform is mapped incorrectly in the mx itself. Has anyone tried to do the same actions only on the latest build? I'm using 596, so I can't check.
