Re: mono vs stereo versions of a plugin
I have a questions about this. Let's say I record vocals in mono (with a single cable in either the left or right channel in your audio interface). So the result is the vocals are playing out of both left and right channels evenly. I would use a mono plugin for that right? But let's say I add some p...

Re: Lowering the volume of tracks while recording
Yes that's it. I just checked it out on You Tube. I need that!TrevsAudio wrote: ↑Thu Oct 12, 2023 8:33 am Reaper has a feature called 'solo in front'. It's a second option when you right click the solo button. When selected, all the other tracks duck a few db. Nice feature

Re: Lowering the volume of tracks while recording
I remember a same suggestion called Auto ducking when recording or something like that in the Suggestion section. I would like it too, even if it's not that important to me. But it would be nice :D For me it would be even better if I could do this via a shortcut so that it not only works during rec...

Lowering the volume of tracks while recording
Is it possible to lower the volume on all the tracks / lanes that I'm not recording while armed / recording a track? For example, I would like to hear my acoustic guitar or vocals louder (while using a microphone) while recording but without adjusting all the other individual volume levels down. I'v...

Re: Mixcraft and EZDrummer 3
Thanks all. I figured some things out. I had my own drum map created using midi learn within EZ Drummer so that my Yamaha percussion pad would work the way I wanted. This map, being active in EZ Drummer caused the the playback within Mixcraft to play the wrong notes. I have to switch the map to defa...

Re: Mixcraft and EZDrummer 3
I'm using EZ Drummer 3 with Mixcraft 10 and I have a couple of questions. 1. When I drag a groove from EZ drummer 3 to Mixcraft, the notes don't match. For example, what was a kick drum in EZ Drummer comes in as a snare in Mixcraft. I tried changing the maps since Mixcraft seems to have several &quo...

Re: Problems with exporting a take
Ya I know that already, but it's a pain to do each time and difficult to make the exact same selection each time. It would be much easier and consistent if you could just export the area between markers.

Mine works. I'm using it in a project right now. This is a recent fresh install of everything on new computer.

Re: Fly a hook in Mixcraft aka copy and paste hooks
I'm not sure if this is the exact same issue, but I'm looking for an easier way to copy and paste certain segments of lane/track to another lane/track but in the exact same spot on the timeline. It would be nice if there was a "paste-in-place" option so that you don't have to zoom right in...

Is there any way to mix down the area between markers instead of a selection?

Re: Movement of mouse cursor over Mixcraft interface
Still testing stuff. I downloaded Reaper and I have no sound issues when I hover my mouse over a track/lane during playback. It just adds to my belief that this is a software issue with Mixcraft that could be fixed. I don't really intend on using Reaper though because I really like Mixcraft!

Re: Movement of mouse cursor over Mixcraft interface
If it doesn't occur when your interface is plugged in directly, why not just do that and get a different dock for the other stuff? Doesn't really sound like a Mixcraft/Windows issue to me, sounds more like that specific dock is what is causing the issue. M Hi, the Dell Thunderbolt dock may be a pie...
