Hi,
Using a buffer of 2048 would cause a big delay in the audio. Try a buffer setting of 512 and see how you like it.
If the buffer setting is too low, you’ll get skipping . If it’s too high, you get too much latency.
Try to find a sweet spot.

Re: All Projects Corrupted
Hi,
Yeah, build 460 has that problem for some reason. It's strange, because the "unable to open projects" issue only seemed to crop up recently. It's maybe related to some Windows update or something.

Hi,
Delete the installer that you have and download this one: https://download.acoustica.com/mixcraft ... taller.exe
If that link doesn't work for you, log in at store.acoustica.com first.

Hi,
Updating to build 470 should fix this problem (along with a bunch of other issues). Log into your account at store.acoustica.com and download the updated installer from your library.

Hi,
What method are you using to auto-fill? Or do you just mean the act of importing itself fills in the fields automatically?

Re: MX - Read writes / memory / SSD
Hi,
The audio buffers are in RAM, yes. Mixcraft buffers audio in RAM until it can write it to the hard drive.
If your C: drive is a reliable SSD drive, that should work well.

Hi,
So, that would be the feature request: a stop marker.

Hi,
See the "Default Project Folder" setting in Project preferences for Mixcraft 10 (or Recording preferences for Mixcraft 9).
If you change that setting, make sure you choose a valid, writeable folder.

Re: Ending playback at end of track/song
A virtual instrument alone can have an effect tail, and some instrument presets also include additional effects.

Hi,
MIDI controller scripts? No, but we'll add them to Mixcraft 10 as we get them.

Hi,
What would "fixed" mean? Do you want an option to stop playback in the middle of an effect tail? That would be a feature suggestion.

Re: Ending playback at end of track/song
Hi,
You've got "Auto-rewind to start position when playback/recording ends" selected in Interface preferences, I take it?
So I guess you just want it to hurry up and auto-rewind as quickly as possible? You could do that with a playback loop, of course.
