Best way to sweeten trumpet sound?
I am mixing a slow tempo R&B with a trumpet in it, and I have a great recording of a trumpet, but I want to sweeten it and add warmth without making it sound over-rpocessed. Any suggestions for effects or EQ?

It's OK - the only stupid question is one you don't answer. None of us are born knowing how to do this stuff. To install a VST effect, simply put it ...

Getting a good guitar signal and monitoring with no latency
What is the best way to get a good guitar signal in to mixcraft? I have a Behringer UCA200 usb input device, and I use that to record the main tracks from my sequencer, but when I go to overdub the tracks I hear a latency. I installed the ASIO drivers, but they don't work well on my dinosaur of a co...

Lining up tracks to be in time - any tips?
I am recording the initial tracks sent from a synthesizer (and in a box kind of thing), and am then laying down guitar and vocal tracks. I am using a Behringer UCA202 USB input device. When I record the guitar or vocal tracks and then playback there is a slight drift in the recording, and I can manu...
