Removing Reverb
Has anybody tried removing reverb with Spin It Again?? I know reverb is a moving target, just wondered if anybody tried it yet. I’m starting to experiment with it. Spin it again has worked wonders on the hiss on all my old band cassette tapes, and on my DBX tapes when us dummies left a fan or the AC...

Re: What are your top 3 feature requests for Mixcraft 9?
Tom, Thanks for the reply. I did a quick scan thru the Mixcraft manual and didn’t find what I was looking for. I do already have output tracks setup, and assigned to 10 separate outputs on my interface. All that works great. I just need a master fader for all the output tracks. La PS Why am I runnin...

Re: What are your top 3 feature requests for Mixcraft 9?
Can you add an option to link the output track volumes to the Master fader?
If this option already exists I just haven't found it yet.
I'm running a 10ch monitor setup at the moment and need this feature.

Re: Using Roland VK-8M to control VB3
Tom, Thanks for the reply! Yes the VK-8M produces it's own Hammond sounds. But the Leslie effect is not the best. **VB3's Leslie effect however is awesome!!** It's the king of Leslies in my opinion. Take that from a guy who's owned 6 Leslies over the years. I purchased VB3's pro version, and it's su...

Using Roland VK-8M to control VB3
Is anyone using Roland's VK-8M to control VB3 in Mixcraft? VB3 cannot learn Roland's drawbars, buttons, etc. because the VK-8M is sending out short SysEX messages instead of CC#'s. However, Bome's MIDI Translator (MT) can convert those SysEx msgs to CC#'s. Yay!!! But...... So I've programmed MT to do ...

Re: Pianissimo - Wish List: fix low end
sjoens, I hear what you're saying about the >$200.00 piano VST's offered over the years. Its hard to believe you get Pianissimo with a great DAW, and for only $179!!! Not to mention the rest of the library. It's no wonder more and more guys are using Mixcraft, its a complete one stop package for mos...

Re: Can Mixcraft record an hour long performance?
Thanks Greg for the link to the file size calculator. It calculated around 7.9G for 16h's at 24bit. Too big if 4G is the limit. But I believe with Win10 the file size can be much larger. Can Mixcraft record directly to a SSD? I'm wanting to use Mixcraft to record an entire set. On my wish list is fo...

Can Mixcraft record an hour long performance?
Can Mixcraft capture a 1 to 1.5hr live performance? 16ch's worth? I want to record a Passion Play performance this weekend. (The answer is probably in the manuals or FAQ’s somewhere, I just haven’t found it yet) I'm guessing it can record up to the max memory size, which is 16G for this laptop. But...

Re: MiniMogueVA knobs info
Just after Thanksgiving this year I was at the Moog factory and got a chance to checkout the latest Minimoog model D’s in production. They’ve added some new buttons, knobs & jacks. (My old Mini’s have some of those mods) So I’m guessing the VST’s will eventually add these updates too. You can do...

Mixcraft 10ch Monitor Setup. Awesome sound!!!
I'm using Mixcraft and it's libraries with a 10Ch interface and 10 monitors. The sound sitting at the keyboard is absolutely astounding!!!! I've armed all the tracks (like when recording) and I'm doing this live from one keyboard at the moment. Tracks are routed to separate Output Bus tracks, and ea...

I highlight all my tracks & use the crop function. Check for those reverb or inst release trails, you don't want to truncate them.

Re: Welcome to the User Showcase forum!
Any opinions of the safest site to upload your original music (using Mixcraft) to? For posting here? I don't usually upload original compositions online. But hell I'm 64 and a stage 3 cancer patient, might as well put my 58yrs of compositions up there somewhere before it all gets lost in an estate s...
