Re: Trying to pgm Roland's SI-24 control surface with Mixcra
That's it exactly Tom, Mixcrafts response to the pan is hard left or hard right. I used Midi-Ox, a great Midi Monitor freebee, to verify the pan knobs did that. That's why I was excited to see the pan increment CC in Mixcrafts Control Surface Details window. Sounded like maybe pan increment would re...

SI-24 faders do move Mixcrafts pan left to right
Tom,
I did do that, accidently actually. Yes the SI-24 faders will move the Mixcraft's pans from left to right.

Re: Trying to pgm Roland's SI-24 control surface with Mixcra
Tom, In the Control Surface Details, Mixcraft correctly recognizes the CC# & value when the SI-24 pan knobs are rotated . In learn mode : When pan is selected though , moving the pan knobs results in Mixcraft's pan either full left or full right . When pan increment is selected , Mixcrafts pan d...

Pan Increment
Well I started to get excited when I scrolled down and found "pan increment", in Mixcrafts control surface window, thinking that's what would work with the SI-24 pan knobs. But that didn't work either.
I used Midi-Ox to verify all the faders, buttons and lights (colors) work on my SI-24.

Re: Creating Banks
Does anybody know how to change the default 1-8 ch's per bank to 1-12 ch's? I searched help, and it mentions the "tiny fader icon" at the top of the mixer ch strips, but doesn't say how to assign or change that. edit: Nevermind I figured it out . I had already found the # of tracks up/down...

Re: Trying to pgm Roland's SI-24 control surface with Mixcra
Thanks Tom. I do have all the buttons, transport controls, 12 of 24 faders and the master fader working, but only from the SI-24 to Mixcraft. I don't have mixcraft controling the motorized faders back yet. That's needed for any changes done with the mouse, Volume automation, or right after loading a ...

Re: Trying to pgm Roland's SI-24 control surface with Mixcra
There are 2 user midi event buttons on the SI-24. It's a time consuming process, but it looks like the SI-24's faders, pans, etc, can all be re-pgm'd and selected via it's USR 1 and USR 2 buttons. Put the SI-24 in the system pgm mode and move whatever button you want to change, then move the slider ...

Re: Trying to pgm Roland's SI-24 control surface with Mixcra
Thanks trevlyns. I do have the manual and midi implementation chart. Only thing I don't have is the software that originally came with it, and Roland doesn't offer it separately. The SI-24 does have Logic 5, Pro Tools, Cubase, and 2 user control maps you can select from the front panel. I've tried t...

Trying to pgm Roland's SI-24 control surface with Mixcraft
Has anyone tried to program the Roland's SI-24 control surface with Mixcraft ? I have one. Got it cheap on eBay long time ago to up a VS2480 to 24ch's live. It has motorized faders and alpha pan knobs, lots of various buttons, transport controls, jog wheel & joystick. The first problem I ran in...

Bug when resizing All tracks
Track area goes blank when scrolled to the bottom track and changing ALL track sizes from normal to small. This can be duplicated using the example project that comes with MC6. (1) Load the project (2) scroll to the bottom track (3) In the top toolbar: click on View, All Tracks Height, Small The tra...
