Re: Mixcraft Suggestions!
Optional sounds/ tones for metronome: drumsticks, triangle or shaker? You can go into metronome preferences and choose whatever sounds you want. Wav or ogg files would be best. Here are some good options for you, BagObolts! Just cut out the sounds you like and change it under Mixcraft Preferences >...

Re: Mixcraft Suggestions!
Just had an idea for adjusting the parameters of effects within tracks. Maybe we could link effects within the Mixer Panel Preferences? I'm thinking this will work for people who have favorite effects that they use on almost every track, and who want to use CC for adjusting parameters without having...

Control Surface Details
Hi! I recently purchased a Behringer X-Touch and discovered that it's only use in Mixcraft is adjusting volume, pan, pressing play, stop, record, and moving the caret around. That was pretty disappointing so I'm considering selling that and creating my own control surface through Yaeltex but I'm a l...

Re: Driving into the Night
I usually don't go for "electronic" but have to say: Good composition and arrangement, the "voices" and melodic interplay makes it interesting and not overly repetitive. Good use of build-up and movement. And the mixing is top notch IMO. Very good stuff! Thank you very much, Mark!

Re: Driving into the Night
Not bad, not bad. I like it. Do you have anything else similar to this? I'm not sure how similar the music will be... But Empty Streets was actually meant for this album: https://morrowknell.com/starsBC . It was supposed to be the sister track to B. Scandens 1793 (track 7). I just hadn't gotten aro...

Driving into the Night
Hello! Here's something new if you'd like to listen: https://soundcloud.com/morrow-knell/sets/driving-into-the-night This is just a small EP for fun - I am currently doing some work with strings, piano, woodwinds and such... I took a small break because I missed making electronic music. The first tr...

Dark, Electronic, Glitch Single
Hello again! I have three tracks to share today. https://soundcloud.com/morrow-knell/sets/deciduous-single I usually type way too much so I'll just leave these links and let you do what you wish. Here's the video, if you're interested: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cdWCa_a3OF4 Free download, if yo...

Re: New Song called "Hollow Spaces"
That is definitely an improvement on the percussion! It sounds much more like it belongs to the track. (Also, to keep yourself out of any legal trouble, don't forget to credit the actual users on Freesound and not just the website itself. It's the equivalent of crediting a video clip by simply sayin...

Re: New Song called "Hollow Spaces"
the preset drum sounds for electronics aren't the best in the world and reverbing them was the only way to get a more 'spacey sound'. It's less an issue with the drums and more with the reverb itself not being tamed. Don't feel limited by what you have available to you. You can make almost anything...

Re: New Song called "Hollow Spaces"
Something I would suggest if you want a more realistic sound, is to go through the track and "humanize" the notes -- in fact, in Mixcraft, you can select all the notes and choose "humanize" if you feel like cheating! If you can play it on a keyboard, that'd be even better for get...

An Enya cover for the winter season
Hello all! It's only fall but I thought I'd share this early. I made this cover using wine glasses recorded in my car on a Roland R-05, Wavesfactory's Marxophone and their 1850 Pipe Organ (looks like the Pro version isn't available right now), as well as a soft pad from within Mixcraft itself. I tim...

Re: New release (with an Evanescence cover)
By traditional I mean by automating the wet/dry, predelay, decay and so on using automation. The problem is that if any "knob" is turned in this particular vst, you hear a popping sound; it's not a smooth transition. So instead of automating that way, I'll do what I mentioned: have two tra...

Re: New release (with an Evanescence cover)
Hey, thanks. I was just saying that although I love the reverb plugin, it doesn't play nice with automation. So instead of automating the traditional way, I'll have one dry track and one wet track. Then I'll just automate the volume of the wet track to give myself more or less reverb depending on wh...
