I've been having issues with my 2i2 also. It seems I can't use ASIO without it freezing while recording.
Switching to WaveRT and still using my 2i2 seems to be working but not ideal. I've found no work around yet but at least it works that way.

Okay, that worked (without attachments). I think it said no more that 10 mb and I'm pretty sure I was under but that's okay. Hopefully support will tell me how to proceed.
