Re: The look of 9

The "lovely wood grain" panels were simply stained with a matte black varnish. They can be stripped and restored to their previous luster by replacing the appropriate Mixrez folder files from MC8 to MC9. mixer-texture-panel.png mixer-texture-panel-1.png mixer-texture-cap.png mixer-texture-...

Re: Possible Melodyne Upgrade Issues?

Currently running v4.1.1.11. Will running the Melodyne update for MC9 during install affect it's use in MC8 and other DAWs?

Mixcraft 8 Build 418

Apparently I never updated my 32 bit copy to 418.

1. Is this still possible? Running the updater seems to fail.

2. Will older versions of MC still be available? Links to them are dead at the moment.

Mixcraft 9: Download Times

When downloading both versions of MC9 Pro one after the other I noticed this:

64 bit 532 MBs took 45 minutes
32 bit 528 MBs took 1 minute

Mixcraft 9: Larger Fonts??

Will MC9 bring in larger GUI fonts? Some of the areas like the Markers View & left side of the lower Edit windows have very small fonts very hard to see.

Importing Audio Files Bug?

When I import any audio file (Sound -> Add Sound File) or simply drag it into MC8, it stretches the file in random places making playback speed up and slow down throughout the duration of the clip. This happens if I keep the project tempo or have it change to clip tempo. In some cases it will also c...

Re: "ERROR! There is a problem..."

It could very well be my fault. Hmm, things rarely stop working for no reason... You probably messed up some files by accident or something. Possibly. But I haven't modified anything since the last update, which reset everything to default status. BTW: You should update to build 418. I have, before ...

Re: "ERROR! There is a problem..."

Not since the last reinstall. It just started happening and happens even with new empty project as soon as I hit PLAY.

I had to install both 32 & 64 bit versions to fix them.

"ERROR! There is a problem..."

"with your software installation." I get this flag after so many uses it's almost like a routine feature. It affects both 32 & 64 bit versions simultaneously making me think it might be a registry issue. The only cure is to reinstall Mixcraft. I see it's been a long standing issue. Any...

Re: 32 vs. 64 Bit Plugin Reference

Try it and post screenshots of both. Set up 32-bit close it out open 64-bit set it up close it out then reopen each one and tell me what you have.

Re: 32 vs. 64 Bit Plugin Reference

Unless you have and use both 32 & 64 bit you're not going to be of any help.
