I am currently DAW shopping and testing out (as possible...sadly some DAWs don't offer a trial version), and Mixcraft is on the short list for sure.

Have a page somewhere that show in a table a side-by-side comparison of the three versions and what each offers (or doesn't). That would be very helpful in deciding which to go with...currently I'm in hunt and peck mode...

Not sure I'm getting how to best use these (the voices that come up when you click on the little piano on a track). Are these considered "soft syth" type things, and if so, how to I use them? "Musical typing" is not going to fly, I want to play my real synth w/these sounds if pos...
