New PC, ASIO not available

Post by lordmullin »

Hi everyone - its been a while, but Ive moved countries and bought new gear,so have just reinstalled Mixcraft on a new PC.
I think its pretty hi-end (not super-gaming spec, but certainly higher than my previous computer.
The trouble is, now when I go to settings, the ASIO option for audio device is greyed-out.
When I choose Core Audio, it says I have no device connected, close & start again.
I can use WAVE okay, but only if I drop to 4 buffers at 4096 and latency is still 92 ms, so not ideal!
Any thoughts greatly appreciated, thank you :)

Hi

Try re-installing the latest ASIO driver from Behringer.

Go to this site and navigate to your Behringer model...

Hope this helps :D

Trevor, that's it! You've fixed it, thank you so much :)
Full ASIO, undetectable latency - fantastic job, Sir.
