It's been a long while since I made a tune in MC9(being that Reason 10 is my main DAW)...but since MC9 supports VST3, I needed the extra CPU efficiency.
Everything in this tune is freeware(with the one exception being...I used AAS's Object Delay on my bass track.)

Re: Okkar Battlefront(EVERSPACE)
I like to hear others' compositions to see how they tackle how many tracks instruments etc they use.
I liked your pads and bass. I liked the change of tempo and the addition of eight bit sound.
I thought it suited the video gameplay well.

Re: Okkar Battlefront(EVERSPACE)
Wow...thanks for the kind accolades!! I was wondering....how do you like your Pro version of MC9? I was considering it myself, as I wanted the ME-80(but I was unsure about the rest of the upgrade contents....Voltage Ignite didn't interest me, as Cherry Audio VST's are insanely CPU-intensive & modular synths are too complicated. Glass Viper & that German synth with the yellow GUI didn't thrill me either. As for the FX...well...I generally like to pick & choose my VST's...rather than being stuck with VST's that I never had the chance to demo beforehand.) I ended up buying the ME-80 directly from MemoryMoon's website for $40 and got a really nice phaser effect called Phase Motion 2, for $30. I also needed a limiter & found a nice one for free, from TokyoDawnRecords(all of which, cost less than the upgrade price for the pro version.)TrevsAudio wrote: ↑Mon Jun 05, 2023 2:25 am Wow! Re: Okkar Battlefront(EVERSPACE)
Here's a comparison chart between Recording Studio and Pro Studio.
Yes, our musical styles are different and I'm not really a synth user, but for me, it's a no brainer. I mean, Melodyne alone is worth the extra cost.
Don't neglect the plugins that come with Mixcraft. There can be a lot of hype out there on this subject, but I mainly use stock plugins. Tone Boosters have some great stuff, comparable to the 'industry standards'.

Re: Okkar Battlefront(EVERSPACE)
Thanks...but I am aware of the comparison chart(been using Mixcraft since version 6.) I can see how the Pro version could benefit guitarists, vocalists & such...but I'm just a synth guy & a composer of mainly instrumental stuff, so there really isn't much in it for me to justify spending $79(especially since I don't like the idea of having the use of the ME-80 synth to be restricted to only in Mixcraft(as my main DAW is Reason 10.)TrevsAudio wrote: ↑Mon Jun 05, 2023 12:44 pm Here's a comparison chart between Recording Studio and Pro Studio.
