I ripped Immigrant song from my Led Zeppelin CD with RipX and deleted Jimmies guitar parts
I recorded my own guitar tracks
I double tracked left and right using two different guitar sounds in Mixcraft 9
This is a really fun tune to play, it gets my blood pumping

Re: Immigrant Song
Did they record this to a click track, or was it difficult to keep time?

Re: Immigrant Song
No click track
I used RipX to rip the original tracks from my CD
RipX separates all instruments and vocals into their own tracks/Stems and saves them to .wav files
I dropped all the tracks into Mixcraft 9
I muted the guitar track and only used the drums, bass and vocal tracks
Them I recorded my own guitar track
RipX is $99 if you want to check it out here
It's a really cool program
It's great to not go buy backing tracks to play along with when you can make your own from your CD's
It works way better from a CD than from a MP3 or some other already compressed sound file
The Tracks/Stem files that RipX makes are .wav files
