MX10 + MX1 = MX11?

Post by Passionpasi »

MX1 is first release version? If so would like to see layout. Found earliest MX forum discussion about version 2.51 and on youtube seen version 3 layout.

There has been YingYang button on earlier versions, and is still on pianissimo. I tried to modify "mix down to audio file" button on menu to be YingYang button but SVG files arent that easy to be modified correctly.

Version MX1 could a have new life. MX10 gives endless ways to be creative, huge amount of instruments and effects to be found, so many quality loops to be used etc. MX1 with it limited possibilities could make you stress free, could do only simple tweaks, back to basics. MX1 (YingYang button) could be AI generator option, one does creativity part as recording and adding instruments, AI YingYang button would add its secret sauce, mix, master and export it as ready made hit. One could focus more on fun stuff like touring and spending all the income.

Even this sounds like a joke, it might be reality in near future. There are already AI generated song and voice creators. Like Audacity OpenVino AI tools, Splice etc. and even vocals on songs can be modified to sound as your own voice.

Hi,

Before Mixcraft 1, there was Acoustica MP3 Audio Mixer, but here's what Mixcraft 1 looked like. No WaveRT, no ASIO.

With each new version of Mixcraft, some people tell me the previous one was better, so this is obviously the best version of Mixcraft.

Thanks Greg,

So MX1 as a best version could combine with newest version :)

MX1 layout looks like Audacity and they started year 2000. MX2 layout i've not seen but MX3 already has modern look as in posted pic. There is also that YIngYang button what i really like :)

Just suggestion to open Mixcraft museo. There could be official history page under company info on web or unofficial thread on forum where posted all layouts since beginning (MP3 Audio Mixer, MX1-MX10) and at least release date for each version.

Idea that there would be MX1 emulation mode (with MX3 layout) and having only very basic function on it, keeps coming to my mind. It would be place to relax nerves :)

I bought MX7 in 2016 and have been growing up with evolution of each MX version. Now i pretty much know the functions and possibilities of MX, it took 7 years. But some people have been innovating and coding all those things, i think that is something amazing!

Hahahaha!

Nope. The beta version was better. Scratch that, the alpha version

Joking aside, people like what they had gotten used to and are familiar with

Before Mixcraft 1, there was MP3 Audio Mixer (previously known as Internet Audio Mix).

Thanks,

I added new topic as Mixcraft evolution, lot of release dates missing and MX2 Version layout. Feel free to add them.

Finally got Ying Yang button for rendering :) (hope it's not copyright issue)

I do like your idea of an AI generator inside of Mixcraft.
