Ending playback at end of track/song

It's a workflow thing. It's not about ending playback 'abruptly'. Just a simple fix to stop the playhead running on and getting it to reset to the beginning of the project.

Have you disabled all fx to make sure it is bone dry? I'm curious where it stops then.

Ah, gotcha. Good point. Sometimes you just want the song to stop at a certain point midway. Not just at the end. I'll use the loop region to achieve that desired result. Thanks!

What would "fixed" mean? Do you want an option to stop playback in the middle of an effect tail? That would be a feature suggestion.

I'm just saying it would be great if playback just stopped and reset at the marker in the image below. If there is a toggle option, then great! But sometimes it will just run on for 3 seconds, 5 seconds, 10 seconds even if there is no track data? I'm sure that if there was an effect that needed to run, I could just extend the corresponding clip as necessary?
