I have two LUMI Keys from Roli, hoping to be able to use them to control different instruments. From talking with Roli directly, they say that other DAWs do work this way, but they did not have experience with Mixcraft to confirm.
Currently, playing a key on either device causes the 'armed' instrument to play. I do see two MIDI devices listed(see below), but it seems the device labeled 2 - LUMI Keys Block does not change anything. Whatever device I assign to 'LUMI Keys Block' causes both input devices to play on that track. Basically, I can not separate these two devices to play individual tracks. It seems both of these devices are assigning themself to 'LUMI Keys Block'.
I do find that setting just to an individual MIDI Channel made it so that only a few keys would play on one of the keyboards. Perhaps there's a way to split out these channels?
I can also provide insight into the controls that the Roli programs offer as well, which may be helpful.
Hoping someone here may be able to provide some insight on how I might be able to achieve this.
